Uganda 2040; The Future We Want Through Science, Technology, and Innovation” (STI)
The National Science Week 2022 (NSW’22) will run between 6th and 10th of November under the theme “Uganda 2040; The Future We Want Through Science, Technology, & Innovation (STI).” The event will include a series of
activities with the primary aim of showcasing how Uganda can achieve prosperity by focusing on and enabling STI.
The implementation of NSW22 is different from previous editions, moving away from the display of simple innovations and products to a showcase of what the future can be if Uganda prioritizes STI in all sectors, both public and private. The event will also create collaboration opportunities for scientists, innovators, and investors through the first-ever Uganda investor summit aimed at attracting private funding for our innovators with market-ready products.
